My set up:
-Inoreader subscription to handle deduplication and scraping for non-RSS sites.
-Unread to view my feeds.
Problem: I subscribe to the Athletic and am into MLB, the NBA, the NHL, and the NFL. I like soccer once in a while when it's high stakes like the World Cup but am completely uninterested in anything like the Premier League. The Athletic includes a TON of European soccer headlines in the general Headlines feed.
Question: As far as I can tell there isn't any article metadata like a soccer tag that I can filter by on the Athletic's side. I'd prefer to continue subscribing to the general Headlines feed for miscellaneous stories that don't fit neatly into North American major sports. Do any Inoreader experts have any thoughts on how to filter soccer out of that feed? I'd prefer not to use a list of block words but I guess that's the fallback option if there isn't a cleaner way.
Thanks for any advice. : )
PS: Nothing against soccer, I just didn't grow up playing or watching it so I never got hooked.
