I built a way to actually read news on the Kindle browser
The Kindle's browser technically works, but every news site is a zoom-and-scroll nightmare. So I built Extrablatt: you open one URL in the Kindle browser, follow sites via RSS, and articles render as clean, page-at-a-time text instead of an infinite scroll. You can also send any article to your library as an EPUB.
Try it out: extrablatt.app
It's open source and self-hosting is free: github.com/Philipp0205/extrablatt
On the hosted version, browser reading is free. Send-to-Kindle is included for the first week, then there is an optional subscription. Email delivery and hosting aren't free and I'd rather charge than run ads.
Happy to answer anything :)
