I wanted to follow RSS feeds without opening another website every time.
So I added an RSS/Atom reader directly into my Chrome new-tab workspace.
The idea is that your new tab can become a small information dashboard instead of just a search box.
You can have:
RSS/Atom feeds
Bookmarks
Notes
Tasks
Pomodoro
Search
Workspaces
The extension is ARC Tab, and the core workspace is local-first with no account, backend, analytics or telemetry.
The RSS reader is currently one of my favourite parts because I can open a new tab and immediately see the feeds I actually care about.
